- WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Morello cherry and red fruits such as strawberries along with a touch of wild herbs. There’s even a note of white flowers.
- STRUCTURE This is a light, fresh style of Valpolicella that was fermented and aged in large oak vats for around six months. The pale ruby red colour is indicative of a light touch approach, so expect plenty of acidity and a light to medium body. This is a concentrated wine, but beautifully fresh too.
- PAIRING The local area is famous for risottos so why not try with a mushroom and truffle risotto.
