100% organically grown Garganega grapes are fermented on skins to make this exciting orange natural wine. Part of the wine ages in concrete tanks, part in non-toasted Slavonian oak barrels, laying on its lees for at least a year. Stefano Menti uses biodynamic principles in his vineyard filled with old vines. The result is an orange-hued wine filled with citrus, white jasmine and lemon flavours and a nice grip from the skin contact.

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Plenty of lemon, orange and white jasmine notes with a touch of earthiness too.
STRUCTURE 100% Garganega fermented on skins lends this wine not only its orange hue but its tannic structure too. The minerality of the grape shines through, as does its heady citrus flavours. The tannins give some grip without being overdone.
PAIRING Slow cooked shoulder of lamb is a go-to dish for orange wine and we’d love to pair Monte del Cuca with one!
