Story
Nestled deep in the famous Graves subregion of Bordeaux you’ll find the ancient Chateau Cazebonne, an estate that has been producing wines since at least 1700.
The history of the estate is long and prestigious, with Jean-Baptiste Duquesne at the helm since 2016, after he felt a pull to return to his native Bordeaux.
This 42 hectare estate is Jean-Baptiste’s playgound, especially when it comes to grape varieties. He has replanted 51 long-forgotten varieties, all native to Bordeaux which gives his wines an edge from his neighbours His dedication to organic and biodynamic viticulture elevates his wines even further, making them truly unique.
