Story
Close to Palermo lies Bosco Falconeria, a family run winery since 1933. Organic since 1989, young Natalia currently heads up the estate, throwing all her passion for wine into the project. Her dedication has paid off - Falconeria is now making some of the most impressive wines in the region.
15 hectares of land are under the care of Natalia and her father. They grow indigenous grapes including Catarratto, Lucido and Nero D’Avola. Everything in the vineyard is done by hand, naturally.
The family are big fans of renewable energy, choosing to build an off-grid winery that produces enough energy for both the winery and their house. They also use lightweight bottles, and recycled paper, further helping to protect the environment.
