Story
Emilio Sciacca farms a tiny amount of land on the slopes of Mount Etna, which is one of the most exciting winemaking regions in Italy. Organic since the beginning, all his grapes are indigenous to Etna - Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Carricante, Cataratto, Grecanico Dorato e Coda di Volpe. These are old vines that create incredibly complex, singular wines that we think are some of the best coming out of Etna today.
In the cellar, everything is done as naturally as possible. Emilio is passionate about letting his grapes speak for themselves which means indigenous yeasts, large old oak casks and no fining or filtration.
