Fonterenza

Fonterenza

Story

Fonterenza is the story of twins from Milan - Francesca and Margherita Padovani - who spent a lot of their childhood in Montalcino. They finally moved to their family owned farmhouse Fontarenza, to dedicate their lives to the cultivation of organic and biodynamic vineyards.

Since 1999, the sisters have been producing some of the finest wines in the region. They have been organic since the start and began with biodynamics not long after.

Their wines are singular and very special indeed; they are wonderful expressions of what Montalcino can really do. All thanks to the dedication and passion of Francesca and Margherita.
