Refosco is a red-fruited grape variety famous for its freshness and Aquila del Torre's is no exception. Organic grapes from 20 year old vines are vinified with spontaneous fermentation. Maceration happens in stainless steel and ageing occurs for around 12 months in concrete. The result is a complex wine filled with pure red fruit, spice and well balanced acidity. An energetic red wine that's hard to put down.

  • WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Plenty of red fruit and spice, this wine smells like it’s going to be easy to drink but complex at the same time.
  • STRUCTURE The wine is aged for 12 months in cement which adds to the purity of the palate and the fruit. The fruit from the nose comes through well, with well balanced acidity and fine tannins and a fantastic finish. This is an energetic wine full of life, that begs to be drunk again and again.
  • PAIRING Meat on the grill - think pork skewers like Greek souvlaki.
