The palate is pure and precise with a powerful, concentrated finish. The grapes for this wine are grown on granitic soils which keeps the wine rounded and balanced. WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Like so many Rieslings, the nose is smoky with petrol-like aromas. With some time in the glass, the wine develops pear and fresh apple aromas with a touch of tangerine.
STRUCTURE The first thing to expect is a zesty acidity, pure and precise. The texture is balanced however and almost velvety in the mouth. Flavours of tangerine and citrus dominate and there’s a powerful finish.
PAIRING This Riesling would perfectly pair with raw fish such as Peruvian ceviche dressed in coriander, or sushi and sashimi.
