A classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot go into this not-so-classic Bordeaux red wine. The grapes are organic and biodynamically cultivated on a mixture of gravel and limestone soils, the former of which lends richness and texture whilst the latter lends freshness. Flavours of peonies, fresh cherries and raspberries abound with a smooth texture on the palate with fine tannins. An age worthy natural wine to be sure, you could cellar it for at least 5 more years.

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Elegant peonies leap from the glass, as do fresh cherries and raspberries. There is an herbal note, along with bramble undertones.
STRUCTURE Like many great Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blends, you’ll find a smooth texture with fine tannins that are balanced by ripe fruit flavours and great acidity. The finish is floral and coffee wrapped up in a long finish.
