WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE The Gelber Musktell - or Muscat - grape shines through on the nose with aromatic floral notes of elderflower and jasmine. It smells delicate but inviting with a touch of nutmeg in there too.
STRUCTURE This is a natural wine, unfined and unfiltered with no added sulphites. The result is a light but almost creamy structure, slightly hazy, with great concentration. Those floral aromas from the nose follow through as does the nutmeg. The finish is long and delicious.
PAIRING Muscat works well with aromatic but not spicy dishes - something like a mild coconut based curry would work perfectly.
