Lauren's Illuminations is a classically styled Cabernet Franc red wine grown with organic and biodynamic grapes cultivated on his 2.5 hectares of land. The flavours are dense and deep with earthy and dark black fruits, but with the acidity and freshness one would expect from Cabernet Franc. This gorgeous natural wine has aged nicely in the bottle which lends a floral note.

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE This is a dense and deep nose. Intense black fruits, slightly spicy with an earthy profile. It’s what we would call classically Cabernet Franc. Because of the years this wine sees in bottle, there is also a touch of flowers about the wine too.
STRUCTURE The palate is similar to the nose with those deep dark fruits shining through. The maturity level is perfect and there are some well balanced tannins that will continue to soften with a little more ageing.
PAIRING This is a great autumn or winter wine - try with game and mushrooms.
