Il Domaine La Monardiere è biologico dal 2007. Per questo vino rosso coltivano le classiche varietà di Vacqueyras, tra cui Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache e Mourvedre. Il vino è scuro, intenso e corposo e prende vita dopo un breve periodo di decantazione. I sapori sono profondamente concentrati e comprendono ciliegia nera, cacao, violette ed erbe legnose. Un vino degno di essere invecchiato, a nostro avviso, da uno dei migliori produttori di Vacqueyras oggi in circolazione.

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Deep and intense, this wine comes alive after a short breathing time. The flavours are dark and brooding such as black cherry, cocoa and there’s an almost bloody aroma.
STRUCTURE Plenty of aromatics on the palate with some violet and red cherry flavours. Dense and packed full of flavour with great acidity. Tannins are well integrated which gives the wine a smoothness and balance.
PAIRING Decant this wine for a couple of hours before serving it with dishes such as game or other deep roasted meats. It would also work well with strong cheeses.
