I viticoltori Antonino Caravaglio e Guiseppe Mascoli mettono il 100% di Malvasia in anfora sulle bucce per un massimo di tre mesi per creare questo splendido vino arancione. Al naso si percepiscono sapori di fichi freschi, albicocca e fumo provenienti dai terreni vulcanici delle Isole Eolie in cui cresce la Malvasia delle Lipari. La viticoltura biologica è lo standard dell'Azienda Agricola Ancestrale, così come la fermentazione spontanea e l'assenza di filtrazione e affinamento (che lo rende un vino vegano ).

WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE Fresh figs, apricot and Mediterranean herbs leap from the glass of this vibrant orange wine. A touch of smoke from the volcanic soils is also present.
STRUCTURE This wine has seen up to 3 months amphorae which gives it a gorgeous orange hue, along with tannins that are present, but not cloying. The floral / fruity flavours found on the nose follow through to the palate. There’s also a refreshing salinity and minerality, giving a fantastically long finish.
PAIRING Sicily is famous for its North African cuisine so grab some couscous, spiced lamb and pomegranate to go with this delightful wine.
