Le uve Nero D'Avola da agricoltura biologica passano cinque mesi in acciaio prima di essere imbottigliate in questo vino rosso siciliano corposo, pieno e speziato. WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE The smell of cherries is strong in this wine, both black and red. There is also a touch of herbs and black pepper along with blackcurrant and blackberry notes.
STRUCTURE This wine sees 5 months ageing in stainless steel which preserves the freshness of the fruit. Tannins are present but not overwhelming and there’s a fresh acidity too. Plenty of fruit and spice flavours come through and there’s a long finish.
PAIRING Roast pork with polenta chips would be a classic match.
