WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE The nose is pure red fruit. Sour red cherries, cranberries, redcurrants and pomegranate all shine through as does a smoky note that is so often found in quality Sangiovese.
STRUCTURE The body may be medium but the concentration is big! The red fruits found on the nose are also present on the palate and bolstered by reasonable acidity and fine tannins.
PAIRING Pair with something quintessentially Tuscan like a pappa al pomodoro (tomato and bread soup).
